1. It is typically solid at room temperature. When heated to a certain temperature, it melts into a liquid. Once cooled below its melting point, it quickly solidifies (i.e., solidifies again).
2. It cures quickly, is low in pollutants, and offers strong adhesion. The adhesive layer is flexible, hard, and tough.
3. After the adhesive is applied to the adherend and cooled and solidified, it can be reheated and melted to form a bonded product, which can then be bonded to the adherend. This allows for a certain degree of re-adhesion.
4. To use, simply heat the hot melt adhesive to the desired liquid state and apply it to the adherend. After pressing, the adhesive cures within seconds and hardens and cools to a dry state within minutes.
