Precautions for Polyamide Hot Melt Adhesive

Due to the presence of polyamines in the raw materials, which are highly hygroscopic, long-term storage should be carried out in waterproof packaging and stored in a dry, room-temperature environment.
Friction during transportation can easily generate static electricity in polyamide hot melt adhesive, so the working environment should be kept free of dust and other sources of static electricity that could cause fires or explosions.
Polyamide hot melt adhesive has a stable molecular structure and is non-toxic, so it generally does not become a source of fire or explosion, and there have been no cases of poisoning from accidental ingestion. However, during use, high temperatures are required, and the molten adhesive may cause burns to workers. Therefore, according to the instructions, protective clothing and tools should be worn when handling it, and direct contact with the molten adhesive should be avoided to prevent splashing.
Polyamide hot melt adhesive requires a hot melt adhesive machine. Standard hot melt adhesive machines are sufficient for use. However, due to the high temperature, prolonged use may cause carbonization, which may adhere to the machine's piping or nozzle, affecting performance. It is recommended to avoid prolonged use and to regularly inspect and clean the machine.
